Frayer model vocabulary

Description

  • The Frayer model vocabulary goes well beyond definition. Students have to define the word; identify the word/concept's characteristics; and give examples and non-examples of the word.
  • Implementation note: you can print four to a page and have students cut them out to paste in their notebooks. Colored paper works especially well.
